Well, what ones do you like for what things? What do you think about any synths you've heard of. If you have a comment about speech synths, just post here!
I like dectalk and eloquence for screenreading, and the realspeak and neospeech voices are good for listening to books etc. I've been looking for flextallk and infovox 230 as well, but not found them. If anyone has them, please post a dropbox link or something. Well anyway, I'll back off and give you some room to post.
some zoner by the name of src333 has them both.
I'm a huge fan of eloquence for reading and writing. I know it's not the best, but to me some of the other ones that "sound" more realistic sound unrealistic enough to be noticed. Eloquence I like because it has just enough expression. I don't know, I can't fully explain. The Mac's Voiceover isn't too bad though. Deck talk honestly makes me want to drown myself
the older version of dectalk is good.
